I love this movie it is quite funny in places and as usual Alan Hale is there to be the side kick .The colour adds more to it and who else could play Don Juan but the one and only. The duel to the death on the palace stairs and the torture chamber don't miss this one. yes I have this one in my library
It was during this film that Errol took off for weeks on a major bindge the company shut down and resumed some time later. Watch for Nora  Eddington in the coach just before the end of the film. Nora was Errol's 2nd Wife.
Don Juan 49'
Errol playes Soams Forsyte with gusto this film was another of his personal favourites and while filming was being done he behaved himself . He really put a lot of himself into this role as it was not another swash buckler Greer Garson  said "Errol presented out of his artistic and creative imagination with no assistance from anybody else, a believable and most interesting portrait of Soams Forsyte: so completely different from anything else that he had done that it made one realize what potential he had as an actor"
That Forsyte Woman 49'
Errol was in this movie for a total of thirty seconds at the end. It is another one of those compiled movies of Warners Stars doing small parts  But Doris Day, Dennis Morgan and Jack Carson play themselves.
It's a Great Feeling 49'
Montana 50'
Many years ago I was visiting my other Mum and Dad, I call them that because they have always been so good to me,  I was so lucky to go and see them 2 years ago as little did I or anyone except Mum and her doctor know that she had incurable cancer. She died about three months after the visit. I saw Dad last year but I really missed Mum. I know Dad misses her terribly but he keeps up a good face . And I know if I needed him he would help me.   Anyway they had just got some new TV channels as before that they only had one plus the ABC. Mum had a video and did not know anything about it. Well I read the newspaper and guess what Montana was on at lunch time and it was already 10am. Well the panic was on by me. First did we have a blank tape yes then I had to set all the channels and tune them in  then do a test to see if I got it right. Well I got Montana and mum Kite said boy all this trouble for one little movie but it was not a little movie to me it was Errol and the movie was not bad either. And they were able to tape after that and change channels with the video remote.
Rocky Mountain 50'
Rocky Mountain is a good movie. The sparks fly when Errol and Patrice get together.
The indians are real Navajos. and the final attack works well. This is the last western Errol ever made. And the story is based on a tru incident.
Kim 51'
Errol did not have much to do in this one and if you do not know the story line where have you beenErrol did not have much to do in this one and if you do not know the story line where have you been. This is a Rudyard Kipling story. Errol went to India but Dean stockwell who plays Kim did all his work in Hollywood.
Hello God 51'
Never released in America  Hello God drifted into obscurity It has been said that Errol thought it was of so bad a quality that he got Charles Gross to pick up and burn the negitave.
Personally I don't like this one at all. And that is something for me to state.
Adventures of Captain Fabian 51'
Maru Maru 52'
This story is basically about greed and what it can do to men when treasure is to be had . Ramond Burr joins Erol in this pic. Errol is the only one who knows where the tresure is and he wants it.By what ever means he can
All in all this is not a bad movie when you consider the troubles to make it Errol broke his left ankle while peforming in an action sequence.Only 5 days before the picture should have been finished. 5 months later the 5 days of filming that were left were finished.
