Steve's Projects
7/1/2003
I was able to save the frame from my 73 Corvette and I purchased a 1969 Coupe body. I am going to mate the two and build a drag car. Small block, Turbo 400, 4-link narrowed Ford rear. It will look similar to the Bandag Corvette in the picture. I made a rolling body stand and will soon make a rotisserie attachment for it.

Speaking of Corvettes, a fellow CT Classic Chevy member, Mel and his wife Carole have entrusted me to take their 55 Corvette hood and make a copy, which they can then use on Carole's custom BIG BLOCK Corvette. The injectors stick out of the hood and it would be a shame to cut an original hood. So far, I've completed the inner and outer molds, along with the assembly jig. So I will be able to make Corvette hoods, I believe 53-55 are the same.

I was able to save my 1957 210 Handyman Wagon. That will be next on the list.

I will keep Monthly progress notes. Stay in touch!!

NOTE!! Please refer to my home page, I am custom building shop furniture and automotive rotisseries. Contact me by E-mail.
