If you are a car guy who likes to do your own work, you might find some of these topics interesting.

When I first got into old cars, I didn't have the confidence to tackle much more than the typical tune up or oil change.
One of my first experiences was to hire a body man to fix the headlight eyebrows on my '55 Chevy. I was severely disappointed with the work and had to pay for it to boot!! I decided that I could do the work just as well, for free!! Since that time, 25 years ago, it's been a learning experience. So what if you mess up?? You get to do it again until you get it right. The cost is in your time and the materials you buy. You can only get better.

Additionally, it's not always possible to pay for someone else to do the work. I know I can't afford it.

Many companies offer complete kits for most upgrades. With a little enginuity, you can fabricate or piece together your own parts for upgrades.
