| Stephen Pye`s Family Tree With a little (or a lot of ) help from my friends For many years I have been interested in tracing my family tree. Many years ago my mum wrote down in a book as many relatives she knew of on both sides of the family ( Pye and Oddie ) The Pyes are from a long established group of mainly farmers around Waddington and Grindleton near Clitheroe in North East Lancashire. The Oddies are from a large group of Oddies around the same area. My grandmother, Esther Mansergh came from Ulverston, near Barrow in Furness, in what is now Cumbria. But since getting onto the internet I have had contact with new found relatives , some quite near to where I grew up and some on the other side of the world, including TheUnited States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
