Appointed Persons - 6 Hours

This course is perfect for the smaller workplace with few health and safety risks, and where a nominated person is needed to take control in the event of an accident or illness. Larger company's First Aiders' will also benefit from an Appointed Person, as they will be able to call upon their support. This will be particularly useful where a workplace has several floors or operates shift systems. Certificates are vaild for three years.

The course covers the following subjects: The Role of the First Aider, including first aid kits and incident reports Outline of Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations Control of Bleeding Burns Shock Choking Treatment of the Unconscious Casualty Resuscitation Delegates may also ask to cover any specific conditions or injuries they think may be relevant to their workplace

Assessment of the course is on a continuous basis, throughout the day, by the Trainer.
