But life was never meant to be
full of all those things
As I began to find my dreams
upon my broken wings.

The joining souls of unity
as promises were made
Began the journey of our lives
on our own wedding day.

So many years before us
have lead us to the place
Where we now stand in one accord
at marriage's open gates.

Whatever pain or sorrow
before us we have beared
From now on each heartache felt
will be a problem shared.

We both have had another life
which has helped us make
Who we've become throughout those times
to where we are today.

And while a decade has since passed
when I first became a bride,
It's with you I now share my dreams,
my thoughts, my love, my life.

And nothing could ever take away
that special bond we share
As we journey toward eternity
and meet each other there.

How beautiful you are to me
with eyes of love that shine
For I'm so glad I married you
that I am now your wife.

No matter what today had been
it's just a memory
For you are real in heart and soul
and will always be to me.

And while gazing through a decade gone
in shards of yesterday,
You and I create the dreams
that we share now for always.
