My own zoo

I am a strong believer in planning well when you get a new pet and researching your options carefully so you know what you are getting into. And yet I have more "accidental" pets than planned ones. I must say to my defense, though, that a lot of thought have gone into the decisions every time we adopted an animal. Scribbit is really the only one we took in on impulse since she would probably have died within a few hours if we hadn't taken care of her. So one by one we acquired the residents of our zoo, and if only we had the room and the money, there would be even more...!
