Story

Final Fantasy VII is the story of Cloud Strife and Avalanche's struggle to stop the evil Shinra Inc. from completely killing the planet. Shinra Inc. has monopolized the Mako industry and is the only provider of energy in the world of Final Fantasy VII. Mako is the life force that lies inside the planet. Mako is the energy that is in all living things. Cloud sets out to stop Shinra at all costs before it is too late.

As you progress through the game, one of Shinra Inc.'s creations, Sephiroth, emerges and complicates the plot even further with his plans for world destruction.
