Riku

The true key blade master, Riku lost his body over to Ansem after joining with him. Riku, realizing he was powerless to Ansem's control, abandoned the body and wound up on the edge of the world of darkness, being led by an unseen force.

The door to Kingdom Hearts soon appeared and Riku was able to cross over into the "other side". After Ansem's defeat, the door had to be shut and Riku stepped forward and helped close it shutting himself onto the other side with King Mickey.

Rumors

Blindfolded Riku Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that one of the characters in "Another Side, Another Story" is Riku. Considering one of the 3 characters is a girl he must be one of the two unknowns shown in the video. Because of hair type, the general consensus is that he is in fact the blindfolded unknown.



Four Rikus' One theory states that the four unknowns are four different perspectives of the same character, each from one of the worlds. Therefore, because it had been confirmed that Riku is one of the unknowns, those who support this theory have no alternative but to assume that Riku is this character.


The Main Character One of the biggest rumors circulating about KH2, is that Riku will be the main character of it. There doesn't seem to be any apparent external sources or clues as to why this rumor is thought, although it is one of the more widely held beliefs.
