Prologue
He gathered her gently into his arms and sighed as her warm, curvy body pressed eagerly against him.  For the first time in his life, he felt loved for who he was. How this one woman could make him feel so complete and so special was beyond him, but it felt almost magical.

“You are so incredible.”  He murmured admiringly as his fingers caressed her satiny eek.   “I am so lucky to have you in my life.”  His breath tickled her cheek and she smiled as she looked up at him.

“You know all of this after just one month with me?” She whispered as tears filled her eyes.  She prayed every night that he felt the same as she did and then for him to say those words out loud made her want to pinch herself.

“Yeah.” He said as he bent his head and brushed his lips across her upturned mouth. She slid her fingers through his soft hair and happily returned his kiss.  She was in the one place she never wanted to leave, his arms.

“You know,” She murmured against his chest.  “I never realized what I was in for the night Brian and Kevin carried you kicking and screaming into the emergency room.”

“Until that night, I never realized a trip to the emergency room could be so much fun.”  Nick chuckled as he remembered the night they met.  He had fallen down the stairs after a show and his ankle was swelling like a balloon, so they guys hauled him to the emergency room to get an X-ray.

“You were so cranky.”  She poked him playfully in the ribs.

“Hey, I was in pain.”

“Yeah, you were.”  Her eyes softened.  “I’m so glad I was working that night, Nick.”

“Me too, Kel.”  He squeezed her tight.  “This feels right, doesn’t it?”  She reached up to brush the hair from his forehead.

“Yeah, it feels right, Nick.”

“You’ll stay with me forever, then?”  He whispered against her cheek.

“I’m going to hold you to that, Nick.”  She said softly as he slid his warm hands slowly up and down her back.

“Forever, baby.  Let me love you forever, Kel.”  And then, he took her mouth once more.
