| "Storium" and the original owners of this land |

| I acknowledge the origninal owners of this land, particularly recognising the role of the "Making Tracks" area in Global Arts Link. I am extremely grateful to be able to show "Storium" in the "Making Tracks" area. Particular attention was given to including the voices of the original inhabitants in the gathering of texts. It is regretable that what could have been said about what we now call Ipswich does not have voices from pre-European times. Such is lost to the past and within other languages. Nevertheless, I would like to thank Margaret Armstrong, Ken Dalton and Trish King for their particular assistance in obtaining Murri representation in these texts. We walk lightly on this land, and, as the texts in "Storium" lightly track over the floor, may there be a regognition of the value of Murri voices within the text collections. |
