| "All was going well. We had ..... - the texts - the data projection unit - the bracket to hold the projection unit 6m above the floor - the software to make the texts scroll But we were foiled - there was a 'soft spot' in a corner of the lens where one set of texts came into view. Sharp focus could not be obtained at this critical point . The 'magnif- ication bubbles' lost their important role. The scrolling texts needed some kind of 'focus point'. Two 'small white hills' were made, as a fallback solution so as to give lift to the text as shown in the images (right)." - Alan Tulloch (Mar 2003) |
