In The Beginning

Samuel Argall named Delaware Bay after governor and lord De La Warr. Twenty years later, the Dutch started settling in Delaware. Indians inhabited Delaware, but Europe went there anyways. Of course the Indians attacked and made the Dutch run away. A little while later, Sweden made Fort Christina, the first permanent settlement in Delaware.

The Fight For Delaware

The Dutch were angry because the Swedish took Delaware, so they attacked Delaware (New Sweden). After that, England took Delaware from the Swedish. As it was until Delaware broke into America.

The Splitting

After England took over Delaware, it became a part of Pennsylvania. Like most things, this did ont last long. Delaware wanted to break away, so they made a border. Wilmington, being the capital of Delaware (colony), was soon to be the center of Delaware, making a cruved border line, miles away from Wilmington, seperated Pennsylvania and Delaware
