October 2005 1yr into the marriage and things a going fine, and have a kid on they way. times they are a changing. November 2004 Ok, its done. No longer single... the wedding was excellent, a large gathering a friends and family on the beach in Bethany, DE. Click for confirmation. more later. or rather, that is the plan. peace, paul. *****************************************&**************************************** September 2004 ok.... as i note below change was in the air in January and prompted me to propose to Aubrey on 5 March starting a whirlwind of planning and whatnot to prep for our wedding on 3 October. pretty wild i admit but for sure a good thing and definitely a transition. we also bought a house. see the wedding link just below for details and whatnot. peace, paul. ********************************************************************************** January 2004 A new year is upon us, but of course this means new folks are on the earth breathing the air and other folks have passed into the next life. I lost two amazing grandfathers in 2003. They are missed. Interesting phenomenon this yearly change of the calendar. Seems to bring with it notions of change in everything else. 2004 brings with it hope for change in my life as well. The woods in which I have been running free for the past 4 years are no longer providing the satisfaction and growth that they once did. A new life beckons and decisions are needed. As said by Goethe "in the beginning was the deed". Work is going strong. There is lots of it. Lots of business travel in the forecast to places in N. America as well as a few jumps across the big pond to the east. Exciting stuff actually. A plethora of possibility has/have arrived at my doorstep. Winter sports are evident but I am stuck in the milder sports of climbing and biking. Need to get the skis set up and maybe even entertain the idea of ice climbing this season. Politics and world events have captured my attention a bit much in the last year. Maybe I'll figure out what to do with all this information aside from getting annoyed. keep your matches dry. peace, paul. p.s. if you wanna see some climbing action, click the climber. |
