EZRA: What a delightful child.                                      BUCK: With the gang...on his way to rob the bank.
                                                                                      NATHAN: What!?
                                                                                      BUCK: It's a long story.
My favorite Scene:

BUCK: Hold on there. Hold on there, little angel. Now, pickpocketing...
that's a habit you're going to have to give up. Deal? Huh? Honk, honk.
MARY: The money means a lot. It's kept hope alive for the farmers.
          CHRIS: Progress.
          MARY: Progress.
STAGECOACH DRIVER: Hyah! Hyah! Come on! Hyah! Hyah!

"Just shoot straight"
Witness--Billy Travis comes into town and is hunted by the men who killed his father.  Meanwhile, Josiah tries to get his groove on with Ezra's mom (Michelle Phillips is a goddess among actresses).
My Favorite Line:

"Mother? I always thought Ezra was raised by wolves."--Josiah
My Favorite Scene:

EZRA: Listen, Mother... about some of
the things that were said the other night, I...
          MAUDE: Good-bye, Buck.
BUCK: Oh! Now, Ma'am, you have
yourself a good trip.

MAUDE: Thank you.  What's that smell?
          BUCK: Smell?
MAUDE: Like animal or something (sniffs)  P.U.  Well, it was nice meeting you.
EZRA: What on earth was all that about?
MAUDE: Nothing. Now, what were you saying?
EZRA: Well, I just wanted to say with all that's going on I just didn't want you to feel as though I feel...
          JD:
(handing Maude money) Thank you, ma'am.
          MAUDE: Don't mention it. Yes?
EZRA: Well, although harsh words were spoken I want you to know that, uh... in my heart...
JOSIAH: Uh, ma'am. I do believe I'll die if you leave.
          EZRA: Penniless.
MAUDE: So nice to meet you. I'm sorry, darling.
EZRA: Well, I... I just want you to... Take care of yourself.
MAUDE: I always do, Son. Good-bye.
          EZRA: Good-bye.
          JOSIAH: Extraordinary woman.
          EZRA: Oh, yes, indeed.
MAUDE: Now, you be careful with that luggage! That's genuine French leather.
Nemesis--Chris goes after the men who killed his family.  If you love angst and vengance in your stories, this is one for you.  If, on the other hand, you don't like to see Chris with a bug up his ass for an entire hour, you may want to steer clear of it.
My Favorite Line:

"Josiah can get very 'Old Testament" on occasion"--Nathan
My Favorite Scene:

   JOSIAH:
(voice over as if reading Steel's Dime Novel):
"And so it ended in that as the cruel ironic hand of death encircled the
killer in flames as it had done to Chris Larabee's wife and child so many
years before. Yet, was it the end or would Chris Larabee ride again
with the hard, complex men he'd come to know? Gunmen like Buck Wilmington and Vin Tanner, the bounty hunter with the price on his own head. The gambler Ezra or the greenhorn JD, Nathan, both healer and destroyer and Josiah, placing his faith only in God and his gun."
