In difficult times I try to remember that life is about being and becoming, but this is not always easy. Life is not all about success; it is about the journey through life and how you achieve your dreams and the obstacles you have overcome. Setbacks are positive.I think it is important to fail from time to time: to aim high and fall short. Here I agree with Sir John Gielgud: "One learns more from one's failures than one's successes."
It is important to remain true to yourself: "to be who you are"; yet, respect and actively demonstrate acceptance of others and their differences. This is a sign of maturity, a sign of being civilised. This is why I am against any form of discrimination: genetic, religious, social, political, economic, physical, psychological ... I value the whole person.
I am still being and becoming. For more questions and answers click: Q&A |
