LAKE ST. CLAIR, CANADA  pg. 2 of 3
As we learned more about the lake, and in time bought bigger boats, we began to catch more and bigger fish. We also now use a GPS to help us find our honey holes and it really comes in handy on foggy days.
We fish St. Clair 3 or 4 times a year now. Other than smallmouth and largemouth bass we catch jumbo perch, 1 lb. rock bass...
big pike, and an occasional muskie or walleye.
We normally use Kalin grubs, Rattle Traps, or the black marabou jig. At times the smallmouth will hit top-water baits and we will throw Rouges or Sluggo's. In October the smallmouth fishing picks up again.  Then we will use the jigs or crankbaits.
