He went to the arms of angels,
who cared for him 'til death
Minist'ring to him spiritual things,
'til his very last breath
He'd been given a glimpse of heav'n,
the angels told him of
Also, of the streets of gold,
awaiting him above
The angels had been in his room
for he had 'seen' them there
For several days he knew...soon
... he'd meet them in the air
To take him to his Savior,
the One who died for him
The One he'd giv'n his heart to;
who washed away his sin
And when it came that time,
after the goodbyes....
He whispered, "Mom, I love you",
then he closed his eyes
Now he's with his Savior,
no more pain or fears
For as it's said..in Heaven,
there will be no tears.
I thank the Lord for giving,
His angels to be my son's guide
That they were there to take him...
to the 'other side'
