Band Bio
It all started one day in the summer of 2001. Flex told Jeremy that they should start a band. Jeremy thought it was a really good idea. But there was one problem.
Jeremy didn’t have or know how to play an instrument.
Time flew by and Jeremy got a bass. And so the band began with Jeremy Couch on bass, Alan Hritz on guitar, and Greg Zenyuh on drums. Shortly there after Alan’s younger brother Anton joined the band on guitar. Greg then decided to quit. He thought Falaksher was better. He told the band “If you want him, you can have him.” Greg left Summer Aura with his astonishing jazz skills, and with the pride of helping to create the name Summer Aura.
One night Jeremy and Greg were sitting at bingo and they saw a red haze in the sky outside. Jeremy automatically thought “summer”, and Greg suggested “aura” because of the illusion in the sky. Thus Summer Aura became.
The band searched high and low in Mexico, Africa, Asia, and China, but success prevailed in Puerto Rico because Flex did indeed join the band. He brought with him his eagerness to play, and his non-stop, annoying drumming. Soon after, Anton was kicked out by his brother Alan for being obnoxious. Anton claimed he quit for gaming purposes.
Another guitar player was needed so Phil McCuen came and blessed the band with his musical talent. The band got serious.
They made one song.
Then another.
It was time to acquire a singer. They found singer Don Dinitzen from Connellsville. Things didn’t work out and that led to his extraction. Summer Aura played its first 3 shows without a singer, and everyone still enjoyed them. Then on November 1st of 2003 they were finally complete with the introduction of Shane Smith. Shane came, and was really good with interpreting what everyone had to say. He memorized everything and put forth great effort.
Now the band is one big happy family, and things couldn’t be better.
