Ahh, the ubiquitous Zagi - what can I add that wouldn't be redundant with the volumes that have already been written about them? I bought one because I can think of about 10-15 other people in my flying club that fly Zagis, and Zagi furballs are a lot of fun. They fly peculiarly, they stall pretty viciously, and they sure aren't pretty - but they're Zagis! Mine goes out every time I slope fly. I chose to bury my pushrods instead of leaving the horns exposed, and I covered mine in Ultacote instead of the stupid tape that they provide. Other than that, it's a stock Zagi EPP. And yes, that checkerboard scheme is iron-on film. WAAAYYY too much effort to be really justifiable, but what the heck :) They take a lot of abuse, and get ratty pretty quickly, but only because they see so much flying time - especially at hazardous slopes. PS - buy a 3C instead of the EPP - they fly MUCH better in light winds. Back? |
