PiNioN's DVD to VCD Conversion Guide
This is a step by step guide that shows you exactly what I do, step by step,
on backing up my DVD's. Why would someone need to do this you ask? Well suppose
you go out and buy American Beatuy on DVD and you bring it home, pop it in,
watch it a few times, third time you watch it take it out and boom, you drop it
and it cracks. If you follow my guide you can back them up to VCD (Video CD).
Now I'm not sure of the legal issues on this. I don't really feel like finding
out either. I figure I bought the darn thing and I have the right to back it up,
copy it, set it on fire, whatever I want to do with it as long as it is for
my own personal use. However, DO NOT use this to copy rented DVD's that is
bad mmmm k. Anyway, in order to do this you need to have a DVD Drive, a
CD Burner, and about eight gig worth of free space on your hard drive
. The software you need will be linked to the name of it in the steps or
