Paul Martinez (bass)

In 1971 he was a member of Hackensack:

They released an album called Up the hard way.

In October 1973, when Fleetwood Mac disbanded, their manager put a bogus band, to fulfill the tour schedule. Paul Martinez was chosen to be there:

John Wilkinson (keyboards)
Craig Collinge (drums)

The manager was sued, and the band ceased their activity quite soon, in January 1974. But this lineup was the seed for a new band, called Stretch, around 1974:

They released their first album, Elastique. Around 1976, there are some changes in the band:

For the tours, they were joined by two members of Gonzalez:

He joins supergroup Paice Ashton & Lord (PAL) in August 1976:

They released a studio album, Malice in wonderland, and they toured in 1977. They finally split in September 1977, while they were recording a 2nd album. With the years, some live recordings have appeared.

For a short period in 1977, he joined mythical band Chicken Shack:

Dave Winthrop (sax)
Ed Spevock (drums)

They recorded an album, The creeper, with help from Tony Ashton.

In July 1978, for a gig at the Royal Albert Hall, Maggie Bell was backed by a one-off all-star lineup (mostly from the ashes of PAL):

Paul went to play with singer John Otway, also recording an album.

In the early eighties he joined Robert Plant band:

Around 1993, there were news of a new trio called VeG, commanded by guitarist Parthenon Huxley (currently with ELO Part II):

But they split very soon, even before making any recordings.
