Question: First, I just want to say you are a great artist. I was
wondering do you ever get sick of promoting your record, when it already is
a international hit?
SGGeri1: Not really we make it different every time. We always have a
laugh.
Question: What are your fave TV programs?
SGGeri1: Come on don't be shy. I love old movies, but I love documentaries
when they expose the real thing behind the scene, like world in action.
Question: Do you have a fan mail address? I would really like to send you
something..
SGGeri1: I think send it to Virgin Records
Question: Geri, I think you're the COOLEST Spice that ever lived! I wanted
to tell you that I'm your #1 fan! I think your the greatest! Four of my
friends and I chose which Spice we wanted to be, and right away I chose

Question: From Coolyo: What is your favorite part of singing in the
group? (the fans, the fame, the parties?
SGGeri1: Talking on the Internet, ha. Freedom of speech.
Question: Is it true that you are in the movie "Austin Powers?"
SGGeri1: That's a Mike Myers. No we're doing are own movie out in Dec.
Question: Where do you get ideas for your songs?
SGGeri1: They based on our own experiences; love, friendship, sex ,life.
Question: How come we never see any of the musicians in your wonderful
videos?
SGGeri1: We'll that's a good question cos we love playing with a band
maybe next time.
Question: What did you do before you were a spice girl?
SGGeri1: Haven't you read the papers? My whole past is in them.
Question: Hi, I'm a big fan of Spice Girls, and I have the CD "Spice." I
was wondering if y'all are coming out with another album soon, and if so,
when?
SGGeri1: September
Question: Geri, how old were you when you started to sing?
SGGeri1: I guess I was kinda singing when I came out of my Ma's womb, or
screaming girl power.
Question: Geri, how do you feel about the way the press overreacted about
the 'glamour modeling' shots that were printed in the tabs? I thought it
was silly of them myself!
SGGeri1: Yeah, I agree completely. It's no big deal, it was my choice at
the time. So long as you're in control of your destiny, then that's fine.
Question: Geri, can you tell us all about the movie, and will there be
Spice Girls dolls (like Question: Barbies you know).
SGGeri1: Possibly the dolls will come, but they will be realistic that's
for sure. As for the movie; yep, we've had a massive input on that, so
hopefully you'll find it a blast.
Question: Who in the group is the most wild?
SGGeri1: Well that depends on when you catch us. Possibly Mel B, or me, as
I am a professional bum pincher.
Question: If you had the choice between love, money and fame, which would
you choose? From Ethan, 17 in Baltimore.
SGGeri1: Well, fame and money, there's no guarantees, then again nor is
there with love so I'll go with friendship, that's a little more reliable.
Question: And have you all been good friends for a long time?
SGGeri1: Yep I reckon we knew each other in a past life :)
Question: What does Geri feel about other groups and media etc. picking on
or making fun of the Spice Girls?
SGGeri1: I couldn't give a ****. Basically I've got a huge sense of humor
and everyone's entitled to there own opinion, that's freedom of speech.
Question: Where are you in the U.S.? Where are you performing your next
concert?
SGGeri1: We're in New York doing Letterman, Rosie O'Donnell, touring 98.
Oh balls, I've just been told off for swearing.
Question: What is going to be the next single?
SGGeri1: At the moment were writing the new album. Come on you lot, ask me
anything don't ask me milkshake questions. God, sorry my spelling has gone
to pot.
Question: Geri, if you were given the chance to live forever, would you
live forever?
SGGeri1: Yes, age is wisdom you'd best master. Life: how to be at one
with every thing. Just like a Buddha sitting under a tree.
Question: How did you meet the other members in the group?
SGGeri1: Boring
Question: Is the Spice Girl movie going to be a biography or what?
SGGeri1: Sorry, everyone, but time is of the essence, so lets talk. The
movie is a celebration of movies, and is gonna take you up, down, its a
thriller, comedy, adventure, its about us the fans.
Question: Any regrets in your career decisions so far?
SGGeri1: Je regret rien. Actually when your lying, on you're death's bed,
it's only the things you didn't do that you regret. So, my advice to anyone
is never think, if only just do it. Anyway, she who dares wins.
Question: What do you look for in a Guy, age; preference; style; looks;
schooling; things you want from him; your expectations.
SGGeri1: OK, I'm looking for the brain of Einstein, the body of Arnie, the
wit of Rob Williams, and the style of Rudolph Valentino. Not a lot to ask.
So, who are you? Are you sexy?
Question: Hi, what other musicians do you admire?
SGGeri1: Elvis, Stevie Jackson, ABBA. I love anything and everything.
Question: Do you consider yourself a feminist?
SGGeri1: That's hard to say. Really I believe in female solidarity, "girl
power." That's glamour with in. I respect anyone standing up for what they
believe in, labels are dangerous. They breed preconceptions.
Question: What are three words you would use to describe yourself?
SGGeri1: Well I'd like to keep my modesty, then again I'll be positive.
So, eccentric, inquisitive, and psycho, friendly and loving. Oops that five
words.
Question: What is the most fun you have ever had on stage and where was
it? Also, what happened that made it so fun?
SGGeri1: erm...erm I guess we made everyone do a Mexican wave the other
day, but, there has been loads of times.
SGGeri1: I don't want to go, so, I'm gonna ramble on a bit.
SGGeri1: OK, do you lot spend your lives on the net? I have a PC at home
and I surf for ages but no one ever believes me on who I am. Thanks for
talking to me. I wish I could stay longer. You guys have been pretty cool.

Geri: "I ran out onto the stage in Japan thinking the other girls were just behind me. I was shouting, 'Hi, Tokyo!' Then I looked round and saw I was totally alone!"

No, no, no! I'm on a Girl Power mission, and I'm not interested in boys right now.
Well, when you were seeing lads, how did you manage to escape from the totally lame ones?
One of the other Spice Girls will call me the mid-date and ask, "Is
the weather bad?" and I'll reply, "Yes, it's raining" if I want to get
away. It's a code. So then she'll call back in five minutes and say I've
got to leave.
What one thing in your closet would you cry over if it got lost?
My big shoes. I'm only 5 foot and a bit, and if I didn't have a big pair
of shoes for the day I'd be gutted.
What are your fave and least fave body parts?
I like my bum. It's very comfortable to sit on, because
it's nice and round. My feet are a
bit manky, and all the girls take the piss out of them. But you learn to
appreciate what you've got - imperfection is a sign of individuality!
Everyone knows you're really Sexy Spice. So how 'bout some
advice?
You don't have to be a particular shape to be sexy. Sexiness is all in
how you feel about yourself.
So what's Girl Power?
It's a vibe, a feeling of liberation, and the freedom to be whatever
you like.
