Here are some pics I took while I was at the Penn Relays on Thursday night, 2004.

This pic was taken during the Olypic Development 5000 meter race:

The top tugboat pics are 2 different representations of the same pic using the optical and digital zoom. The bottom tugboat pic is at the max 4X optical zoom. I then used Microsoft Photo Editor to zoom in and crop the tugboat. This shows that it is probably better to take an optical zoom only picture and use software to zoom than it is to use digital zooming.
The top two pics were originaly 456KB and the bottom one was about 385KB. Now they are all under 20KB each.
