Your Oasis page can win the 1998 Hey Now Award too! All you have to do is apply for it. Then I will look over your site and decide if it's worthy of being presented with the 1998 Hey Now Award. The following are points I look to see in your site and according to them I make the decision:
Design: The first thing you notice when you enter a webpage is its layout and design. It's important to have an attractive and comfortable layout so that people would want to come back to your page often.
Content: The most important thing about any site is its content, what it actually has in it. Your Oasis page needs to have many useful things in order for it to succeed.
Originality: This isn't a must for a page, but it's always good to have something creative. If your site has some, it will get more credit. It's important for the site to fun and entertaining.
Maintenence: A very neccessery thing when building an Oasis page is to keep it updated all the time. Sites which only have resources up to "(WTS)MG?" for example are considered too old.
After I thoroughly go over your site, you will receive an e-mail from me telling you if you won or not. If you win, I'll attach your custom-made award image to the e-mail and you can put it on your site for people to see. It will also be listed in the award winners' page among with the other winners. If your site doesn't receive the award, I'll write you a couple of lines about what I think you should change in your site.
