NEW YORK, Sept. 4 /CNW/ - Designer Tommy Hilfiger is excited to announce that he will be dressing three of the most creative artists of our time for the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards: Sheryl Crow, Sean ``Puffy'' Combs and Sting. His designs will also be featured on actor and MTV personality Bill Bellamy, as well as the dancers accompanying Puffy's performance. The show will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall tonight, Thursday, September 4th.
-- Platinum rapper and producer Sean ``Puffy'' Combs will be wearing a three-piece stretch wool suit, and his dancers will be wearing blue metallic flight suits.
-- Sting is expected to wear a black stretch wool three-button side vented suit.
-- MTV's Bill Bellamy will be wearing Tommy Hilfiger sportswear throughout the evening.
-- Sheryl Crow will be wearing a deep-V pale blue suede dress. Tommy Hilfiger exclusively designed all the clothes for Sheryl's current national tour, and this latest collaboration for the MTV Awards represents their on-going friendship.
The MTV Video Music Awards is widely known to be the most thrilling and unpredictable of the awards shows, and Tommy is very happy to be a part of all the excitement!
