The four members of STONEHENGE pulled into the parking lot of a small bar located on a rustic back road in Cornwall, New York. The building could not have been more than thirty five feet in length but to the eager musicians, on their first gig as STONEHENGE, that did not matter.

The band set up their own equipment, played for four grueling hours, and then, after paying a sound man, were left with a mere twenty-three dollars to split amongst themselves.

Now, over four years later, STONEHENGE finds itself appearing on thirty-five foot stages, in establishments packed with eager spectators, and opening for bands, already signed to labels, such as Brother Cain, Rick Derringer, Pantera and many more.

What started as the dream of four individuals has turned into a single-minded corporation with delegated responsibilities and close interpersonal relationships. They have turned their love for music into a serious career move.

STONEHENGE has enjoyed increased popularity and is repeatedly being asked to play in the same places they had previously performed at. Even though they are very flexible, playing a full range of songs from light to heavy, they consider their sound to be a classic, contemporary rock style.

It is amazing to see how four people have pulled their talents together to turn their dream into a well honed reality. From their first demo "Changes" to their most recent release, "In The Woods", STONEHENGE has truly gone through some "Changes" for the best!
