This page is dedicated to my 1987 Cutlass Supreme, which I purchased in May 1998. I took out the original 307 and installed a well-built 403.  The installation took many months, but it was well worth it. A friend and myself ended up finishing the install with around 3 inches of snow on the car and ground.  There are many other modifications that I have either done or am planning to do.  Over all, I think that I have between $8,500 to $10,000 invested in this car, with almost $4,000 invested in the engine and everything that was necessary to do the install.  On July 23, 2001, my 87 Cutlass was appraised at $4,800, up from the $3,500 it was apprasied at on February 29, 2000.  The difference came from the 403 installation.

I am a proud member of the Olds Gmail mailing list, a group of people that do nothing but help one another when it comes to fixing and enjoying Oldsmobile G-Bodies of all years.  I would just like to thank all that personally helped me get my great Cutlass in the shape and condition that I always wanted, especially my girlfriend, Ally, who has put up with me and my "obsession" since I bought it.

The wheels in the pic above are reproduction SSIII wheels which were powdercoated "chrome"  I like the different look of them, plus they clean up alot easier than the factory chrome.  Behind, the car, you will notice the garage that my friend and I have spent the last year building.  (It's his house and garage, I just supplied alot of my time and effort)  Inside, there is a 9000lb 2 post lift, with a mostly-filled Snap-on toolbox.  Life is good sometimes.
Here is a pic of my 403, it is up and running, but it still needs some cleaning and dress-up.  Runs like a champ though. It has Arias/Mondello flat-top pistons, a mild cam, ported and polished heads, Shorty Hedman Hedders, and a true dual exhaust, with an "H" pipe.  I recently switched out the 350 turbo trans for a 2004R transmission, with a Crossmembers.com custom crossmember. The trans was built by Vinny at Reno's American Transmissions, located in Wilmington, Delaware.

This picture was taken Sept. 14th, 2002, at Sly Design's Fall show in Seaford Delaware. Although I didn't even come in the Top 20, I still had fun.  These are my new Offenhauser polished aluminum valve covers.  I also had the intake off, and painted it with POR-15's engine paint.  They say that it will never burn off, and other than the brown tint at the heat choke, I'd have to agree. I keep switching different carbs, and have yet to find one that works the best yet.  Right now(Summer '04) I am getting over 12 mph, including city driving. . Still fine tuning it, but I ran a best of 14.9 @ 92.1 mph.  I'm still considered a novice drag racer, but I am getting better.  I replaced the 2.41 gears in the 7.5" rear with 3.42s and an Auburn posi unit that I got from Randy's Ring and Pinion.(www.ring-pinion.com)
