Kenshin Himura,or Hitokiri Himura Battousai,the manslayer , is now a wonderer.He was the fastest,toughest,and greatest manslayer there was back in the Bakumatsu era.Since the end of that era, Hitokiri Battousai has vanished from the face of history.Now it is the meiji era,and Kenshin Himura has vowed to protect the lives of the innocent,and to never kill again.Nobody is quite sure why he made this vow,or why he refused a post in the government that he worked so hard to create.Now he wonders from town to town helping people.He doesn't really care to fight anymore,but he won't hesitate to do so if anyone is in danger.People today know Kenshin as an extremely caring person, They see him as a man who doesn't care to do anything but help others.However the Battousai still lives deep inside of him.Kenshin's swordsmanship is excellent,but the Battousai's skill is demonlike,since he doesn't uphold Kenshin's vow of preserving life.However Kenshin can usually keep the Battousai part of him under control,unless someone upsets Kenshin(usually by hurting someone he cares for).Kenshin's fighting style is the "Hiten Mitsurugi style".Kenshin's sword is only sharpe on the back edge meaning he can use it to disable,but not kill his enemies.I will update my site every week so make sure you check in and see whats new.Also, if you get the chance, watch Rurouni Kenshin on cartoon network every Saturday at 11:30 PM.
