How to install your own silly big truck IC
Install pictures
Fairly simple realy

Tools: Basic
Skills: Reasonable (don't be a dullard)

This is from my experiance placing a Isuzu NPR Intercooler in my 87' Supra

1: Get the blasted thing
Ask for the Intercooler from an Isuzu NPR Delivery truck.
They are easy to spot, they are often white, and say "ISUZU" and "Turbo Intercooled" on them
they are cabover bobtail trucks ~30' in length with 2 axles.. like a ryder/u-haul truck

2: Make Time
Give yourself @ least 4 hours, or more depending on your skill level

3: Make Room
First thing to do is strip out all the stuff you don't want anymore

Basic: Loose the stock IC and pipes, move the stock oil cooler some were else (like the RH fender under the headlight, or just up and out of the way)

Advanced: These cars are silly heavy, esspecially in the front end, so any loss of mass is a good thing... loose all of the above plus the AC system (if you live in cold climates, or it does not work, or you don't care) and any brackets that are not holding anything anymore...

Now there should be sufficiant room to put in this monster...

4: Clean it up

It will probly be pretty nasty inside and out, mine came with crud all over it and full of nasty oil.
I washed the inside out with paint thinner (gas will work), and then water, I let it sit overnight with the thinner to dillute the oil and unstick it from the walls...
You sould despose of the solvent + oil in a responsible manner.

I cleaned the endtanks with a wire wheel on an electric drill, now they are nice and shiny
I also ground off the extra nubs and studs that I did not need
It is a good idea to cover up the fins with carboard taped down so you do not bend them with all the handleing, then remove it once you have the unit in the car..
