Can Water Mirror Our Thoughts????

An article from the Epoch Times

In Dr. Masaru Emoto’s book “Messages from Water”, a sample experiment has revealed an in-depth relationship between mind and matter. Good thoughts produce creative and beautiful water crystal formations while negative thoughts produce deformed and ugly water crystal formations.

When the words Love and Thank You were spoken to the water sample, the water crystals formed a beautiful pattern. When the water sample was exposed to harsh, destructive words, the crystals formed were chaotic and without order. The contrasting results are amazing and are a direct reflection of the influence of people’s thoughts (mind) on the matter.

When you speak beautiful words to the water, its crystals become beautiful. When you speak dirty words to it, its crystals look extremely dirty. Looking at these pictures, a Mother would probably understand that more encouragement and praise might make children become more intelligent and beautiful. A harmonious family atmosphere could also contribute to healthy looking plants in the house and help keep them beautiful.

Dr. Emoto tells a story of a group of people sending kind thoughts together. When Apollo 13 landed on the moon, the crew experienced some technical problems that caused damage to their oxygen tanks. They were not supposed to be able to make it back to earth alive under the circumstances. However, the entire world watched the expedition and prayed for them. In the end, the crew made it back to earth safely. Dr. Emoto believes that it was the work of sending kind thoughts as a group. Dr. Emoto regards this outcome as a result of a global activity where the world, regardless of race, belief, or country, sent benevolent thoughts together simultaneously. It follows that collective benevolent thoughts are very powerful just as collective negative thoughts can also be powerful. If we combat a calamity with kind thoughts as a group, the calamity will be transformed. When it comes to the destruction, violence and slaughter that plague this world, he therefore implies that we may be able to lessen the effects of destruction and violence in the world by sending positive thoughts to eliminate them. A Chinese proverb says, “Water is a mirror of the heart.”

Dr. Emoto’s experiments conclude that pure water is a product of a pure mind. In addition the results indicate that a mind that resists kind thoughts has no power to improve water. It follows that groups sending benevolent thoughts can improve the environment on a small scale - temporarily. Is it possible the overall environment could be improved and sustained only when everyone embraces compassion and kindness? The heartfelt message from this experiment is the indication that at least one factor in changing the world to be a better place begins with the individual’s kid thought.

At home I tried this simple experiment when watering our plants. Every time I filled the water jug, I focused kind and loving thoughts towards the water before pouring it onto each of the plants.

Within a month not only was I feeling better but the plants were looking a lot healthier too. Once teased by my family as a plant killer our home now boasts the liveliest, greenest and happiest plants, which I might add also gather admiration and disbelief from all who visit.

Note from Jay: I of course do not believe Apollo 13 was rescued by good, benevolent thoughts. I believe it was rescued by the power of prayer to the one true God. I think this article goes a long way in proving that sin and sinful thinking, does have a negative and destructive influence on nature. It also shows the power we as humans have over nature, our environment and the world regarding blessings and curses.

Here are some bible verses that I think go with this study:

Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time. Deuteronomy 4:39-40

This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Deuteronomy 30:19-20

The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. Peter remembered and said to Jesus, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!”

Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”   Mark 11:12-14 20-25
