| Gardur Lighthouse Area | ||||||||||||||
| The Gardur lighthouse is on the very northwestern corner of the Reykjanes Penninsula. It works best on a large southwest swell and southerly winds, where the swells will wrap into smaller, cleaner ridable surf. Very tide sensitive (needs high tide) and heavy kelp area. Outside of the lighthouse is a large left reefbreak. Exposed to extremely big surf, sickening currents, and heavy kelp, these waves are likely to remain unridden...But here are the pics. | ||||||||||||||
