Snaefellsness Penninsula
This is a small beachbreak wave I found near a golf course.
I took a road trip to the Snaefellsness Penninsula late last summer.  It was my first trip up there and I found a few ridable waves.  The top picture is of a beachbreak near a golf course on the southwestern coast.  The other pics are from the trip around.  Along the western eadge of the penninsula runs a gravel and mud track.  There are many unmaintained dirt trails leading off to the water from this trail.  Very isolated and on this day, very spooky.  I wasn't sure if my Jeep was up to the trails, and I was alone without a cell phone or anyone even knowing where I was, so I didn't make the trek.  Who knows what kind of waves are waiting to be discovered and surfed out here....
