Previews for this new musical will start on December 7. October 13-31 Sutton's next big project will be performing the role of "Jo" in the new musical Little Women (Playbill.com & Broadway.com). She begins the rehearsal process for this new ensemble piece in September 2004. Little Women will premiere on Broadway in December 2004 after tryouts at Theatre Previews at Duke University in North Carolina October 13-31. September 12, 2004 Sutton will perform the song "Astonishing" from the new musical Little Women at Broadway on Broadway in the heart of Times Square. August 3-8 Sutton will play Sally Smith in Me and My Girl at Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera. Check out the PCLO web site for more information.. June 14 Sutton will perform at the annual Broadway Under the Stars event at Bryant Park. This is a 90-minute starlit toast to New York City marking the kick off to NYC's summer outdoor concert season. It features live performances of great numbers from the Broadway songbook performed by Broadway luminaries and back by a 35-piece orchestra. This performance will be shown on the local New York CBS stations over the weekend. May 24, 2004 An all-star gala saluting the 92nd Street Y's 13 decades will be held at the famed New York instituion. 130 Years on Stage at the 92nd Street Y will include music, dance, readings and reminiscence and a few surprise guests. April 12, 2004 Sutton will appear (along with Hunter Foster, Christian Borle, Jennifer Cody, Devin May & Ann Harada) as Peppermint Patty in the SNOOPY! The Musical concert at the Peter Norton Symphony space in New York City. Sutton will actually be a co-producer of this event. March 29, 2004 Sutton (along with the cast of SNOOPY) will be featured at ON THE BOARDS with Scott Nevins at Therepy - 348 W. 52nd Street in New York. You must be 21 years old to get in and the event is free. March 24, 2004 Sutton will be the next guest at ArtSpeak! at Poe Middle School on March 24, 2004. The event is intended to excite students about theatre, but adults are welcome to attend. |
