Siggys....
Or a bad case of wanting to get my artwork out there on the web. I know.
Show-off. Actually, it's a shockingly bad case of needing it all organized somewhere, because my harddrive just isn't the place to do that apparently.  It has gotten out of control so therefore I am breaking it down and putting it onto different pages.  They're all still there - you just have to look.

Beowulf:
Usually photographs of Gerard Butler don't make me crazy.  I have no idea why but the following did.  I tried to put something profound in each of them.  These were just stunningly beautiful pictures of Gerry- I couldn't resist. I think of all the siggys that I have done - these two are my favorites.

This is the scene in Hrothgar's mead hall wherein Beowulf vows to kills Grendel. And what is written is what he said - in the poem. We have to be literary somehow. Even if it is in West Saxon.
meadhall

Two capped from the Wrath of Gods extra on the Canadian DVD. I just thought they were gorgeous piccys - but I'm prejudice - I love the long hair. And he's wet too - Rawr!!!!!!!

wrath

Another gorgeous set of pictures capped from my DVD. The Beowulf look has been making me squirm lately.

Yeah - it's the whole leather and chainmail and long hair that has positively done me in here. Sorry guys. I know I'm supposed to quote something literary or say something profound  - talk about the cinematography in the movie, something, anything besides how utterly gorgeous he looked, however, I'm just not feeling that right now. Sorry.

These are entries I did in the Beowulf and Grendel banner contest - just for fun. I won 5th place in the animated banners. WTF? I've never won anything in my life.

Frank Miller's 300:
300.  Wow is all I could say when I saw the production photos. I had to do something with them. This was the final result.

Dracula:
Another "so there." The movie didn't do much for me. The man with the fangs? Bite me.
drac

My daughter again pointed out that I only had one Dracula siggy. So I made another.

Reign Of Fire:
Creedy. The character that makes everybody go "Awwww........" He dies. Typical. But he's so darn adorable. I borrowed this from my header on the review page, reworked it a bit and make it smaller, and viola! A siggy!
ROF

My hero.

Attila The Hun:
Attila. Another one re-worked from the header I designed. Sigh. It should be illegal to be this damn sexy.
thehun

The hair, the eyes, the body. Stick a fork in me I was done. Can I have one and does he deliver? It was actually a bit difficult to cap a decent picture of Attila with a smile on his face.  When I finally did - this was what happened.
eyes

Love the Attila look, or maybe it's just the long hair. Dunno. Put that with a shot of the mountains at Glencoe and this is what you get.  Don't know if I like it or not. Haven't decided yet.

Okay fine - so the "Gerry with all the long hair look" is driving me crazy right now. Don't ask me why - I have no clue. Throw back to my 80's days with all my heavy-metal bands? Probably.

My daughter's godmother called me up on the phone and actually told me to turn on the television when this mini-series was on. I had initially had no interest in it. She was positively bouncing all over the place about this "Gerard Butler" - twas VERY easy to see why. Yep - he was definitely Attila the Hunk.

Combination/Humor:
Another attempt to be a smartass. When do we not have to shovel what they leave behind? At least I blamed the horse.
horse

The Baltimore heatwave. It was hot.  It was awful - my a/c ran non-stop.  My electric bill? About nine-million dollars. The siggy says it all.

Mrs. Brown:
Have been working long and hard trying to decide what the heck to do with this. I finally decided to get off my rear and do my review and synoposis for Mrs. Brown. Therefore I required a few piccys of the real John Brown. Well, in doing my research,  I fell across a piccy of Archie. That's right. You heard me. Archie Brown. The resemblance? Well lets just say it's very easy to see why they cast the way they did.  The real Archie is on the far right. Scary.

I loved watching Gerry dance "The Eightsome Reel" in this movie. Yeah - he can obviously shake his thang - but to see him dancing a traditional Scottish dance here? Was a treat. It wasn't that the kilts were flying - it was just that......yeah...okay the kilts were flying.  So sue me. At least I'm honest.
