| Free the Stars The quietness of the stars loom, Forever waiting in their spacious tomb. Tiny helpless points of light Trapped, strangled in an endless fight To free themselves of the prolonging strife And forget about their wretched life. I pray to those more powerful than thee To set these tranquil spirits free. And with a crash of thunder from mighty Hell, From the night, the illustrious stars fell. It's much darker now, and I am alone. But through it all I know I've grown. For my soul is like the stars entangled. Set me free or my heart you'll strangle. |
