Maverick is the wonderful product of our Yankee X Desi litter and is a normal eyed white factored wonder of collie structure and temperament! He is lovingly co-owned with Norman and Terri Beggs here in Amarillo. Taken out as a puppy for show training, he mananged to pick up a couple of wins from the 6-9 month puppy classes before coming back home to mature a bit. He will not likely be campaigned widely until fall of '09 to give him a chance to mature a bit. Maverick is shown below taking his first point with my son, Christopher on the end of the lead (10 mos old). His first litter is on the ground and we are very pleased with them. At just two years old, he's already exceded my expectations of him as a pup. We are really looking forward to taking him out extensively as a three yr old next year! |
