The Future of Swan Collies

You may click on the links below to see our future. These collies are the next phase in a breeding program envisioned over twenty years ago. They represent the combination of several lines of collies which I felt embodied the best that collies can be. Each line provided critical virtues for my breeding program and the collies listed here are the result of selecting from the best of each intermediate litter in the breeding plan. It is from these collies that my "line" is being established. We are striving to build upon the great work of the breeders behind the original four lines from which I chose to work. I could not have come so far, so quickly without their years of dedication and wonderful vision in breeding their own lines. My heartfelt gratitude towards Gayle Kaye of Chelsea Collies, Maureen Growsky of McMaur Collies, John Buddie of Tartenside Collies whose splendid collies shaped my own "eye" as well as the pedigrees of so many of the great collies behind our dogs and Judy Wolf of Wolf Manor Collies whose attention to structure, intelligence and movement created Ch. Wolf Manor Silver Lining on whom my foundation bitch, Kate, is so tightly linebred.
