History

Swanston Estates Neighborhood Association was formed in 1992 to bring neighbors together, to prevent crime in the neighborhood, to build community pride through shared information and neighborhood events and to make the neighborhood a better and safer place to live. Neighborhood News is published four times a year to establish and maintain communication between residents, local businesses, the City Council, law enforcement, city agencies and other neighborhood organizations. It is distributed throughout the neighborhood by volunteers called Street Captains. Information and events relative to the safety, protection and well-being of the community and its members are published to help residents stay informed and get involved in what is happening in their neighborhood.
