About Me
Sumi was Janet and Mike's second cat. Like Sarah and Tasha, Sumi came from Janet's sister's household.
She had the bushiest tail, so her nickname was BushyButt. She was funny in her own way. She loved to lay on Mike's lap with her head hanging down. She loved being up high to survey the view, whether it was sitting on the back of the sofa or on top of Mike or Janet as they lay in bed. She loved to eat Bo's canned dog food. Don't know why. When she meowed, hardly any sound came out. It was like she was a kitty mime.
In February 1999 she was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma which affected her tongue. Her health deteriorated rapidly and she was put to sleep on April 1, nearly two months after the diagnosis.
