Welcome honored guest to my The Addams Family Pinball Page!
My wife and I have played hundreds of pinball games. We have been to shows, auctions, arcades, and private collections. No other pinball game comes close to the level of fun and excitement of playing pinball compared to The Addams Family Pinball Machine.
We bought our first The Addams Family Pinball machine several years ago from a pinball machine operator. Although the operator said the machine was "shopped" and in excellent working condition, when we received the machine, it was laden with problems. The machine's electronics were not working properly (the machine would suddenly power down), light bulbs and flashers were out all over the board. The playfield had gummed-up dust embedded in every crevice. The rubber flipper covers cracked and broke due to drying out. The ball kept getting stuck in the swamp. The ball ejector mechanism kept jamming. The little plastic clip on one of the solenoid pistons used for the right flipper broke, disabling the flipper. The flipper bumper covers were chipped, and the playfield had areas worn by intense use.
I learned to be a pinball machine repairman quickly, and I resolved all of the problems. I also gained a lot of knowledge on the workings of this fine machine, and met a lot of interesting pinball enthusiasts ("pinheads"). I even went as far as improving the game - I updated the game sound chips to the latest "gold" versions, shopped and detailed the machine, and added new features to the game - which will be discussed further in the links of this page.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of the people who gave me help and guidance in this new hobby of mine, and I would like to pass along information that will help others resolve problems related with this machine - the absolute best pinball game ever. Without further ado, "LET'S GO!"
