24 Hours of Power
Hells yeah I'm all up in yo' bizniss...
Dear Manda,

I've been best friends with this guy since sophomore year of high school.  We always did the typical dating stuff - went to dances, sat at the same lunch table, cleaned up each other's puke - but were never dating.

I knew he had a crush on me but I never felt the same.  Well four years, two proms, and some college experience later, I am thinking of him as MORE than a friend - even if it took me ferver.

Problem is, he lives in my hometown and I live in LA and he has a stupid gay fear of planes and heights like a big lame-o.  Could we still happen?

Sincerely,

Hopeless Hattie

Dear  Hopeless Hattie,

First of all, you treacherous snake woman, why didn't you like him in the first place?  After all the money he spent on you? And he's
so adorable...by the way you describe, of course.

Sadly, trying to carry on a long distance relationship between two college students is basically impossible.  There is too much temptation and it's not fair to either of you.

However, this is not to say that you two can't be together on breaks (Christmas, Labor Day) until you graduate and THEN try things out.  Granted it's about two or three years from now, but if your feelings are true, you'll both be there.

Aw, it's so aderber.  I'm all verclempt.
