After countless requests, AAT's project Co-Ordinator, Dan McCallum still couldn't tell us who AAT's Company Secretary/ Directors were - despite the fact that he had signed the AAT's Annual Return* as a Director himself - when in fact Companies House don't recognise him as one!!

Companies House have informed us that they are currently investigating this matter further.

UPDATE - Co's House have since informed us that AAT have how re-submitted their Annual Return. Emily Hinshelwood has now signed as Co Sec.

(*) which is a legal requirement a company has to fill out each year stating who the Directors/Company Secretary is.

BBC NEWS - AAT TELETUBBIES
We wrote to Peter Teague, Managing Director of BBC Worldwide This was part of his response:

"... at no time was permission given for the Teletubbies to endorse this [AAT] project. We [BBC World Wide] and the rights owner Ragdoll Limited are taking the appropriate action in the circumstances."

EMILY HINSHELWOOD'S CV
Interesting reading.

VILLAGERS PLAN BRITAIN'S FIRST COMMUNITY WINDFARM

It;s funny to see Emily Hinshelwood write all these articles and be the spokesperson for the project when in fact Dan McCallum stated that Ms Hinshelwood had nothing to do with the Project at the Public Meeting on Jan 26th 2001 - see the link below for a transcript of the meeting

BLOWING LIFE BACK INTO THE VALLEYS
Another Guardian Article on the Project

BBC CHANGING PLACES
We recently were contacted by BBC's Changing Places Programme for Radio 4 to give an alternative insight to the AAT proposal. The majority of this broadcast was focused largely on Amman Valley Enterprise and AAT really rode on AVE's coat -tails for much of the programme.   We were mentioned on the broadcast, but weren't really given as much airtime as AAT funny that!

CONSULTATION BEGINS ON FIRST COMMUNITY-LED WIND FARM
Emily and Dan have been busy at it again! We wonder how much an article like this pays? Obviously - any funds would have gone back into AAT with out a doubt.

THE BLACK MOUNTAIN GALLERY
This site gives an interesting insight into the people who support AAT. There used to be a subtle dig at TAG on this web site - which we found quite amusing. Since we asked to be put on their mailing list (as Tairgwaith Action Group) the reference has gone - which is even more amusing!!

Some more information on AAT's Project.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL ARTICLE ON AAT
Emily Hinshelwood's paper on the programme. Interesting reading for those who live in the community and know that this paper presents just one side of the issues concerned - notice nowhere is an opposition group mentioned!

MAIWAG
Marton, Askam and Ireleth are neighbouring villages located in the south of Cumbria just outside the Lake District National Park. They've got an excellent website, jam packed of interesting photos and facts and kind supplier of the photo on
our home page.

Makara Guardians
We're so happy that this site is up and running again after a fantastic facelift!! Why anyone would want to spoil the pristine New Zealand landscape with a peppering of turbines is beyoned belief! Check out this site for an informative insight into the issues.

Country Guardian
AAT's favourite group...favourite group to try and undermine that is, check out some quite interesting pages.

Preservation of Weardale
A professional and well set out site - excellent reading and very resourceful - worth a check

Cefn Croes Campaign
Another excellent site - pots of info and logical arguments - but check it out to make YOUR own mind up - well worth a visit

Campaign* for the Protection of Rural Wales
- Good sound source of information about the issues involved. Check out the transcript of TAG's public meeting for an overview of how CPRW are supporting TAG  (* AAT incorrectly refer to CPRW as Council for the Protection of Rural Wales - despite TAG trying to correct them on many occasions)

The Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound
Check out some good photo montages and some fresh perspectives on the fight against wind farms.
