Arabian Nights is movie which I will never be bored to watch again.
Watched the movie. Stared at the prettiness of Shahrizat. Laughed at the last story. Love the movie to pieces.
Really, some of the movies that Hallmark have produced are quite enjoyable to watch. Arabian Nights and Jason and The Argonauts are good examples of those movies. Sometimes its good to watch feel-good movies, take a break from all the mayhem of Matrix and the horrors of Ju-Yang. Heh.
Attempted to memorize all the hiragana in sister's book but due to the weather's dryness and the dryness in my throat, I only added a few to my small jap vocabulary. Swell.
Currently interested in mythologies, especially the ones of Norse and Greek or Roman. Norse because of the anime/manga MaLoki, Greek and Roman because of watching Matrix (Persephone) and Roman because
That reminds me, gotta think up stories for her...
I think I've got a basic idea for 'lust', Kaiten, but I need to talk to you to smooth out the idea. Call me when you get back.

Ooookayyy...been reading too many Kodocha. I'm starting to follow Sana's style of suddenly turning into an old man.
Oooohhhh...my head hurts now. Watching 2 movies in succession give you a headache. Not to mention both of the movies are horror.
After watching both movies, I've come to a conclusion about differences of the horrors from the east and from the west. The horror movie from the west would be 'Jeepers Creepers' while from the east would be 'The Tale Of Two Sisters'. One thing's for sure, horror movies made by asian directors are wayyyy scarier than the movies by the western directors. Our ghost are also more terrifying than theirs.The only reason I'm not scared by the boogieman is probably because I'm more scared by our very own 'pontianak'.
While waiting for the the movies to start, I like always, hounded the comic shelf in Kinokuniya. Me bought Jing:King Of Bandits and Confidential Confessions(vol2)!!!! Just started reading Jing when suddenly the headache strikes again. Note to self: NEVER watch 2 movies right after each other. *shakes head*

Read too many comics and books. I LOVE HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE!!!!
Last Wednesday was Hikaru's b-day so her friends gave her books. Great idea, picking out what you want for your present rather than letting your friends buy what they think is nice. At least you wouldn't be let down.
After laughing my head off at Kodocha, I read Howl's Moving Castle(wnother of Hikaru's present). Been wanting to read it ever since I found out that Hayao Miyazaki is making a movie out of it and finding out from Hemlocke that its based from a book. Read it in about 9 hours, complete with chicken soup and a head-banging headache. Would have completed it sooner but the cold got in the way. Anyway, I love it and currently thinking up a way to convince Hikaru to more more.
For the past few weeks, I've been buying Shounen Magazine because Tsubasa runs in there. At first I loyally bought every week but now, I only buy it when there is a colour picture of Tsubasa. Nice eh?
Anyway, scanned a few of 'em because Kaiten wanted to see it, thought I might as well put them up here.
The last picture is new cover for the first chapter of HikaGo's mangaka new manga. Its called Death Note. Still don't know what's the story about except that Hikaru says the main character looks like Hikaru and Akira combined. Will check up on it later.

10 more weeks then I'm done, 10 more weeks to freedom.
Just finished a week of torture. Not only did I went through a week of tests, but I just HAD to get sick all throughout the week too! Another that bugged me is that when people around me get sick, it's just a matter of time before I get sick too but when I get sick, nobody falls sick! I know this is stupid, but I'm the kind of person that beleives in the saying, 'What goes around, comes around'. They should suffer like I do!
Okayyyy....that was disturbing. Wishing ill upon other people.
If any of you guys have been keeping up with Hikaru's journal entries, you'll notice her raving about MaLoki. Its such a adorable/mysterious/funny/interesting anime!
Yamino, being the ever-loyal child, calls Loki 'chichi-ue' (did I spell that right?) which Fenrir being the eldest and I think the one that has the REAL father-complex, calls Loki......Daddy.
Its funny to see a small dog (or what Litebink calls sheep), calling out 'Daddy' in a voice of a normal 24 year old guy.
Another thing that has made this group of episodes my favourite is because of....*faints*....Kakusei Loki!!!!!!
He's so kakkoii!!! I love the part when he said, "Since I'm like this now, I might as well enjoy it". Then he proceed to look at the girls which had grouped around him and winked. After that you can see and hear sighs and girls falling down to the ground. This even continues when he walked around the corner. Or the part when he greeted Heimdall and Freyr. They even greeted him back! It took them 3 seconds to realize this, and then you hear Heimdall shouting, "LOKI'S BACK TO HIS ORIGINAL FORM!!!!". I really love that scene. *wipes tears*
Because of my current obsession with MaLoki, did some tests.

Weddings. Fun but tiring.
Went to my friend's sister's wedding yesterday. Had to be the 'bunga telur' girl. My job, in detail was to go around giving this 'box' that contained potpourri or sweets to the guests. Usually people give eggs in this 'box' but recently people have found that boiling hundreds of eggs was a pain so it was replaced with sweets or something else.
The way people was going around lying to get an extra 'bunga telur' was quite amazing. Before me and my friends were assigned for the job, we were given strict instruction (by a VERY strict maid) to give the box that contained potpourri to the adults and the box that contained chocolates only to the kids. I swear I heard at least 20 excuses given to me by the adults just for them to get the box of chocolates. Here's an example of what my friend had to go through.
Friend: Here you go, uncle.
Uncle: Oh thank you. (he thens proceeds to open the box)What? Potpourri? Why don't you give me the chocolate one too?
Friend: I'm sorry but we were told that its only for the children.
Uncle: Come on, just give one to me.
My friend, being her ever blunt self, said many things that some people might consider blunt/rude to the guy. This is one of the milder one.
Friend: I'm sorry but no. Anyway, its not good for your teeth.
Uncle: Don't worry, I brush often. Now give one to me.
This continued for quite a while. In the end, my friend gave up and gave the old geezer the stupid chocolate. The above conversation is not very accurate, b'cause its kinda hard to translate my friend's 'slang'.
But, overall it was a joyous occasion, the bride was very pretty and happy. I enjoyed the wedding but I think if somebody invited me to a wedding again, I'll take my time considering. Going to a wedding is very tiring!!!!

Sorata and Arashi is in Tsubasa!!!!
In the newest chapter of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles we get to see two more old characters of Clamp from the manga X. They are none other Sorata and Arashi!!!!
From the bits and pieces that hikaru read for me, Sorata said that Arashi is his wife or in his words his 'honey'. I'm not sure whether he was making a joke or not but Arashi didn't glare or anything so I guess its true. It also seems that they live in the same house.
Mokona Modoki is soooooo cute!!!! The first thing it said was 'puu'!!! It was wiping a handkerchief to Syaoran and there were tears and everything!!! Mokona was so cute that when Fye held him Fye's whole hand could cover his entire head(and body). You can also see in every page Mokona either making noises or hopping around. Its so cute!!!
Maybe hikaru will scan some later. Knowing her, she probably will the second my eyes is off the book. She's a sly one she is.
Okay, enough gushing over Mokona for now. Ja!

At last, my birthday doesn't fall on an exam day.
This has been my unlucky streak since I can remember which is to celebrate my birthday either on the first day or the last day of the mid-year exams. This year it falls on neither! Nice!
This Yoake Mae 6th makeover was done by Hikaru as a early birthday present because the her real present will only arrive in June/July. I guess the SD layout that I had stashed for today will have to wait till next time.
At school, I got a purse and what I think is a feng shui tree from my friends. My friend Sheila also threw in a disposable underwear to liven up the mood. Not something you usually think to give as presents but she had always had a twisted sense of humour. This 'item' also gave me quite an embarassing moment because the school prefects just had to pick today to do a sport check on us. The prefects were laughing while they were 'interrogating' me! Thank goodness I am quite good at making a poker face so I managed to survive the check without a single offense. Lucky!
Tomorrow is the last day of school for this semester and then I'll have 11 days of so-called holiday. Got 2 projects to finish and a wedding to go to. Don't think I'm bad but somehow I dislike going to events that involve many people who know me but I don't know them. For example, going to a relative's wedding and hearing people commenting on how I look like so and so but I don't even know the speaker. This gets very tiring on the 20th time.But, there's always the feast afterwards so that makes it even.
