Well the "war" in Iraq is now over. Time to rebuild (or leave alone) another country headed for, if not already, 3rd world conditions.

How about SARS? Funny how in today's age people from all over the world can succumb to something so simple, and yes deadly, as a serious flu. I thought the world's medical systems were a lot better than SARS is proving. Now I'll never leave the shed.

NOTE: At the close of this year, 2003, I will be stripping this site of virtually everything. As I am planning to be leaving the country for a long while, this site will go unchanged and it will only be taking up cheap space with very old material. I have not yet decided if I will post current journals of my travels, when I am away, at a different site. As it stands now, I will not. But with technology today I really never will be all that far away, no matter how far I go.
