Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Omicron Gamma Chapter
Georgia State University
History of Omicron Gamma
The Omicron Gamma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. was chartered on the campus of Georgia State University on January 18,1997 by the Southeast Region of the sorority.  Zeta Alpha Sigma chapter of College Park, GA  is the advising chapter.
For the past 6 years the ladies of Omicron Gamma have made a difference in the Georgia State community.  Special projects include a voter registration drive co-sponsored by the SCLC, conducted an emergency assistance drive for a family burned out by fire, and participated in the AIDS Walk in Atlanta.  On the campus we sponsor bake sales, parties, stepshows, and roundtable discussions on issues affecting young adults in the 90's.
Currently we participate in Zeta Alpha Sigma's Growing Into Womahood program and plan to again contribute through partipation in AIDS Walk Atlanta.
Each sorority has a distinct personality.  The same is true with individuals.  You will find there is a sense of warmth, charm and excitement that you feel when you enter the world of SIGMA !!
