Tamarin's Poetry
Please forgive my poor attempts to follow my muse. I know they're not
works of high art like the Puddleby Tales,
but they're mine.
For Monolith and LeAnn
The wind and rain upon the grassy knoll,
Or moon and stars together in the sky
Assembled we their virtues can extoll,
One with the other standing ever nigh.
And as their beauty most profound is seen
At air and water's shimm'ring interface,
So have these lovers never lovelier been
Than in the moment of their sweet embrace.
Thus can we never sunder home and heart,
As one is placed where e'er the other be,
So fortune shall these two souls never part
When two make one in its entirety.
As they are one, good fortune all declare
To Monolith the Good and LeAnn fair!
Congratulations!
To Leann, my next-best friend
With the exile newly arrived
Though our meeting was slightly contrived
The words can but start
I feel in my heart
To honor the friendship I thereby derived.
