The Chronicle of Tamarin the Healer

Introductions

If you have visited Puddleby in the Lok'groton Islands, you may have encountered a male Thoom healer of typical stature named Tamarin. I am he. If you are looking for a small fruit, you are probably thinking of a tamarind. If you thought I might be a small monkey, I understand the confusion and forgive you.

I am not only a healer; I am also a scholar, and endeavor always to unearth mysteries and expand my knowledge of the world around me. What I know of Puddleby and these islands is surprisingly little, as I have myself been here only a short while. With each passing day, though, my sphere of knowledge grows.

Being a scholar requires not only knowledge, of course, but the desire to share it. As I learn more of the world around me, I will add my findings to these scrolls.

I hope you consider my writings as I would like you to consider me: simple, not fancy, but honest and of good substance. Should you desire to converse with me by enchanted scroll (which, as a scholar, I earnestly hope you do), you may address it to: Tamarin_CL@GeoCities.com.

Finally, if you should happen to see me in Puddleby, please introduce yourself that I may know my colleagues - and please consider \sharing some of your experience with this simple healer.

My list of cross-references to other enchanted scrolls has grown too long to include on this page! Feel free to use my Links scroll as a gateway to the written lore of Puddleby.

Autobiography

Although I knew nothing of my past when I arrived in Puddleby, I have since remembered a fair amount. This scroll describes my childhood and how I came to be here.

My Journal

The first chapter of my journal is now written, with more to follow.

My Poetry

My modest attempts at verse.
