Your massage will be tailored to your needs. When you arrive, you will fill in an intake form with contact and health information. We will discuss what you would like to get from your massage (basic relaxation, work on a specific problem area, etc). Swedish Massage is traditionally done with the client undressed but fully draped* with linens except for the part of the body currently being worked on. Creams, lotions and oils are used. (I use Biotone Cream). If you prefer, you can choose to be fully clothed for your session. In this case, cream will not be used. If you choose this option, you should wear loose comfortable clothing (sweat pants, warm-ups, etc).
*Draping is required by New York State law. This is the way I work - No Exceptions. |
