Chaos
tamara shah

It's not what I thought it used to be
And what it used to be wasn't even what I thought
It could be.
Watching the day go by like a whirlwind of
Confusion,
Not understanding the tolerance from the surroundng crowd
That watches the day go by like a normalcy of every day
By day...
The insignificant figures in the shadows are happy to be there
For sanity's sake
So as not to become a statistic of
Chaos.
But they still watch in the shadows
As the show goes on like a tornado that never ends.
The curtain rises the lights turn on
The audience becomes the entertainment
And they know it...
It's the chaos that keeps them going.
Like a never ending
Chaos.

Lost In Blue
tamara shah

The blue eyes of imperfection
almost perfect enuf for me
to see myself as I am
and what I shouldn't be...
Like a calming bright blue sea
     with a ring of darkness
surrounding the calm of the
Storm
I can't get out
cannot escape the vision
that sees me as I am
and what I wish I
Could be
But cannot
       cannot dream the impossible
Dream
that entraps my being
as he looks into me
Undresses my barrier
Knows my thoughts
My dreams
My passions
I'm lost in his deep
Blue sea.
I'm naked in the sea.
